Comprehensive Plan

Under Rhode Island General Law (RIGL), and based on findings of the State of Rhode Island (State) as defined in RIGL §45-22.2-3, all municipalities within the State are required to have a locally-adopted Comprehensive Plan approved by the Rhode Island Department of Administration through its Division of Statewide Planning (Statewide Planning).

The Town's Comprehensive Plan was most recently adopted by the Town in February 2010 and is composed of a Primary Report and two appendices - Appendix I and Appendix II. Statewide Planning approved the Comprehensive Plan in November 2011.
