The Westerly Town Beach is located on the beautiful sandy shore of the Atlantic Ocean.  A staple for residents for generations, the beach grants access to the idyllic New England coastline for fun in the sun with family and friends. 

 

To obtain a Westerly Town Beach parking sticker, you must be a Westerly Town Resident or taxpayer.  Parking stickers are required.

Passes ARE NOT sold inside the Town Hall. Applications MUST be submitted via US Mail or in the Drop Box outside of the Town Hall. 

 A link for instructions on receiving a sticker will be posted below by April 1st.

Wuskenau Beach, "New Town Beach"

 

The Wuskenau Beach is a town owned public beach that is available for access both by the day and seasonally.  The facility is open 7 days a week and day parking rates vary throughout the day.


Located at 311/316 Atlantic Avenue and adjacent to Misquamicut State Beach. ALL transactions for New Town are credit card only and sales begin on Memorial Day Weekend. Credit card Transaction fees apply.

Wuskenau Seasonal Parking Passes are $80 each and are non-transferrable. Stickers must be adhered to the bottom left portion of your windshield.


Wuskenau Cottage Passes are $300, transferrable and can be purchased with proof of a Westerly Address. These passes are NON-REFUNDABLE and hang on you car mirror.


Weekday Daily Passes begin at $10 and vary throughout the day.


Weekend and Holiday Daily passes begin at $25 and vary throughout the day.

Misquamicut State Beach

One of New England’s most beloved and popular beaches, Misquamicut State Beach calls Westerly home.  The modern bathing pavilion features concessions, outside showers, and composting toilets making a day at the beach easy and fun.  During the sunny summer season, lifeguards are on duty from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.  The state beach is the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful southern Rhode Island shoreline.

Watch Hill

Located on the southwestern most point of Rhode Island, Watch Hill is a historical gem that we are proud to have in our community.  The Watch Hill Lighthouse offers a beautiful focal point amongst the sandy shores of one of the most popular beaches in the area.  The area is a haven for bird watching, surf casting, and photography.
