Governor Dan McKee has declared a state of emergency.
- All commercial vehicles are banned from Rhode Island roads as of 5:00 p.m. today.
- All vehicles except emergency vehicles are banned as of 7:00 p.m.
- Both the commercial and vehicle travel bans are in effect until further notice.
- These restrictions have been coordinated with our neighboring states.
Please stay safe, stay off the roads.
