The National Weather service has issued a flash flood watch for the region from 8 AM Wednesday, September 1, until Thursday, September 2, at 2 PM.

Widespread 2.50 to 5 inches of rain expected with higher isolated amounts possible. This will bring the potential for rare high impact type of flooding to southern New England.
