On Thursday, June 29th the Town will be conducting smoke testing of 
a sanitary sewer underdrain pipe located in Wilcox Park to assess for any cross-connections. The underdrain is located under the Town’s sanitary sewer that services that 
properties located between Grove Avenue, Wilcox Avenue, Newton Avenue and 
Narragansett Avenue. The Westerly Police and Fire Departments have been made aware 
of this upcoming work. Should you observe any smoke entering your home, please contact
the Westerly Fire Department.
If inclement weather is experienced on June 29th, this work will be conducted on Friday 
June 30th
