As of today, February 26, we have been informed by the State of RI that The Town of Westerly is receiving additional assistance from CTDOT to support our ongoing snow removal operations. 

The assistance includes loaders with snowblowers and additional manpower that will be working diligently with our DPW to clear and widen the roadways.  The roads are currently passable, and we ask that you remain patient as snow may accumulate at the edges of roads and driveways during the ongoing clean up process.

Be advised that the parking ban was lifted last night, (2/27) at 8 PM. However, if you must park on the street, the vehicle must not obstruct travel lanes or interfere with snow removal operations.

Our crews will be working during the overnight hours to continue removing more snow.
