Definition of Accredited Degree

Unless otherwise stated, the requirement of "a degree" includes only those degrees obtained from regionally accredited colleges or universities from one of the following regionally accrediting institutions:

  • Higher Learning Commission (HLC)
  • Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE)
  • WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC)
  • New England Association of Schools and Colleges Commission on Instiutions of Higher Education (NEASC-CIHE)
  • Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC)
  • Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACCJC)

NOTE: To receive credit for college education, you must submit your college transcript with your application materials. Based on the number and quality of applicants, applications may be reviewed for qualifications beyond the minimum qualifications outlined. Education and experience shall be evaluated with regard to recency and quality, as well as quantity.
