Mission

The Development Services Department consists of Planning, Zoning, Code Enforcement, Building Official, Community Development, Minimum housing, Architectural Review and Economic Development and is responsible for: building inspections and permits; environmental conservation and regulation; housing rehabilitation and neighborhood commercial revitalization; job creation and desirable private investment; plan review and Comprehensive Plan compliance; zoning enforcement; and grants administration.
